 The BM thermo-shrinkable tubing line responds to all isolation needs and assures an optimum mechanical protection to abrasions. They can be used for the automotive, electrical/utility, and communication sectors.
A perfect way to isolate wires, cables and general electrical connectors; this line presents an economical and simple solution for the isolation, protection, cabling, and identification of electrical and electronic components.
MATERIALS
The BM thermo-shrinkable tubing line is produced in radiation crosslinked polyolefin specifically formulated to obtain determined rotios of shrinkage.
Polyolefin guarantees an excellent level of flexibility, durability and a large temperature range.
INSTRUCTIONS
Pick a tubing preferably so that its diameter after shrinkable is 20% smaller than the object to be isolated.
Make sure the tubing is cut evenly and precisely.
Place the tubing over the object to be isolated.
Shrink the tubing starting from one end to the other, using a hot air gun and not exceding the temperature indicated in the technical information for best results. In case of tubings with internal adhesives, some of the adhesive may escape out of the end.
In order to avoid over heating, make sure to evenly distribute the heat. The over heating of the material can provoke bubbling, color loss or rupture in the tubing.
